We offer help and support to patients who have to live with ileostomy or other stomas after surgery. Stoma therapies have been in place since 1999 in our clinic and are conducted by nurse Marion Philipp who focuses on the individual needs of her patients.
- Counseling, care and guidance of stoma patients and their families.
Detection and treatment of stoma complications.
- Care and nursing guidance for patients with urinary and fecal incontinence.
Patients are shown how to deal with absorbent and efferent materials, and how to care for their skin.
- Modern wound treatment processes for chronic wounds, decubitus, tumor ulcerations, and wound healing disorders of different origins. The aim is to provide medical and nursing care that improves the patient’s quality of life, i.e. improving mobility, reducing pain, and speeding up wound repair.
If patients are seeking aftercare or wish to join a support group after they have been discharged we are happy to provide the relevant contact information.
